Thanks to our lovely friends at Dana Delicious for the heads-up. There is an auction up on Charity Folks with the item name “Crack the Case! Visit the Set of CSI in LA & Meet Star, Marg Helgenberger!”. That’s right. If you win, you get a trip to LA to visit the CSI set and meet Marg in person. Here’s the item description:

Marg Helgenberger, who has won the Emmy in the category of lead actress in a Drama Series, has generously a set visit to her incredibly popular show for the ACLU auction!

The winner and special guest will meet Ms. Helgenberger on the day of the set visit!

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation brings criminal justice issues before a large audience on a weekly basis.

The city of Las Vegas, Nevada, its reputation for providing instant success for those willing to try their luck, draws in the hopeful and the naive. This constant influx of visitors also provides ripe targets for criminals of all varieties, confident they will never be caught. Unfortunately for them, most are proven wrong by the Las Vegas Police Department’s night shift Crime Scene Investigations unit led by Gill Grissom (William L. Peterson). With almost obsessive dedication towards his quest for the facts, he and his elite team of investigators work various perplexing cases using scientific skills and equipment to find valuable clues from the most seemingly unlikely sources.

Marg Helgenberger and her husband, actor Alan Rosenberg, are an inspirational couple whose work on screen and their personal commitment to social activism off screen show a tremendous dedication to equality and justice. In 2004, the ACLU presented them with the Torch of Liberty Award for their strong commitment to liberty and justice for all.

Helgenberger, an Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee, has also appeared in the controversial Thanks of a Grateful Nation, about a man who suffers a terminal brain tumor after returning from the Gulf War. Her breakout role on China Beach won her an Emmy Award in 1990. Helgenberger also has an extensive list of feature films to her credit, and she received outstanding reviews for her performance in Erin Brockovich.
