Hi, everyone. This is very likely our last update in 2009. This year has been eventful to MaMa. How about you? Again, thanks for your support through the year. We definitely have some of the best friends and visitors around here. Here’s hope for a more amazing year. Happy New Year, Margamaniacs. And rock on!
To celebrate New Year, we uploaded two photos of Marg and her China Beach costar Brian Wimmer at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 1989 (December 31, 1988-January 1, 1989):
And of course, that’s not all. ;)
First of all, thanks to What A Pair!, we have a list of confirmed cast members of What A Pair! UK which is taking place in London, June 4th 2010. Here are the ladies that have committed to perform for the show so far:
If you go to the event’s Myspace, you can not only see pretty photos of the past shows and links to some of the performers’ official myspace pages, but also listen to sound clips from this year’s show, including Lean On Me performed by Marg and Liz.
Apart from the annual show, What A Pair! also launched a new project. It’s called SING!.
Many thanks to Angela from MCO for getting the Télé Star scans and translating the Marg interview for us. Basically, it’s the same interview the U.S. TV Guide did with Marg and Jorja that was published this October, but Télé Star’s version included a few questions and answers that were left out in TV Guide. Including those about Marg’s plan after her current contract is due and about Catherine’s love life. ;)

Thanks to the heads-up from JFO, we got to know about this short article from the French site Le Blog TV News. It says that Marg is planning to leave CSI after season 11 and that there will be interviews with Marg and her CSI costar, Jorja Fox in the French Télé star magazine on sale December 28, 2009. Please click the jump for the article and an English translation.
Ho ho ho! It’s Christmas Eve! Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, here’s some great news for you.
It is confirmed that Marg has committed to perform for the first What A Pair! UK show. The show will be held at indigO2 inside the O2 in London on June 4th 2010. Please note that the plan may be changed if something happens (such as a movie offer), but for now, she is going. We don’t know who Marg will be paired up with yet, but an official cast list will be posted by What A Pair! in February 2010.
UK fans and fans from other parts of Europe, this is definitely one of the best chances to meet Marg and see her performance! We’re still keeping an eye on it and will keep you updated with further information (ticket prices, sale date, etc.). For details on the event, please visit What A Pair! UK’s Facebook and Myspace.
Merry Margi Christmas, everyone. ♥

Happy Holidays, everyone! Thanks for being with us through the year. This year we got our 2,000,000th hit, launched MargTube and organized a very successful fan project for Marg’s 51st birthday, with your support being our most important drive. We couldn’t have come this far without you!
Of course, we have prepared something for you…also, meet the two prize winners of the birthday project!
Since we had revealed that Marg may be going to London for What A Pair! in June 2010, we have received several emails asking us if her appearance had been confirmed and whether there was an official cast list for the London show. We hate to say this, but the answers are no and no. It hasn’t been officially confirmed that Marg is going to be one of the cast members. The only thing we know is that she could be going. And there won’t be an official cast list until early 2010. Again, we’re keeping an eye on it. As soon as we find out something, we will let you know.
We have added three HQ photos of Marg and Liz (and other ladies) from this year’s event to the gallery, courtesy of What A Pair!. They both look gorgeous on the stage and the red carpet. Please click the thumbnails below to see each new photo. :)
CSI writer Corinne Marrinan wrote a short Christmas story featuring our beloved CSIs that was published by UK’s Daily Mail. Here is a sneak peek:
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Christmas – an exclusive short story
By Corinne Marrinan
Last updated at 9:48 PM on 19th December 2009One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all Brass had on him. He laid a credit card on the bar counter and wished it luck. It only had to bear the price of a couple of rounds, but his salary and his expenses were not on speaking terms lately.
It was Christmas in Las Vegas. Every year, it set him back until April. Which was tax time. Which set him back until Christmas. There was a comforting rhythm to it.
‘They have some good single malts,’ Catherine said, and ordered a beer. That was one of the things Brass liked about her. She had class, but didn’t make a man pay for it.
Please go to the Daily Mail website for the complete first part. The final part will be in next week’s Mail On Sunday.
