This is another reminder for our 2009 Birthday Project. The project, which closes tonight, is quite successful so far. We have gotten really great birthday messages, videos and generous donations. Our most sincere thanks to the fans who have participated. If you haven’t taken parts in the project yet, today is your last chance. Whether you would like to leave a message, share a video, or make a donation, please make sure you do it before midnight (PST). Winners of the CSI script and the photo signed by Marg will be announced next week. :)
Here’s a little something something that hopefully will bring you a Happy Hump Day — official details and shiny new episode stills for CSI 10×09 Appendicitement. :)
HENRY’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TAKES AN UNEXPECTED TURN WHEN THE CSIs UNCOVER A DOUBLE HOMICIDE AT A BIKER BAR, ON “CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION,” THURSDAY, DEC. 10
“Appendicitement” – When Nick, Greg and Hodges take Henry to celebrate his birthday at a biker bar, they uncover a double homicide and find several suspects still at the bar who may be the murderers, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Thursday, Dec. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
First of all, a reminder of our Birthday Project. The project will run until Friday, November 27th. That means you still have five days left. If you’d like to participate and haven’t done so, please hurry up. We appreciate your participation, be it a message in the fan book, or a donation to our Susan G. Komen fundraiser. For details, please check out Margamania Birthay Project 2009. :)
If you haven’t seen Marg play a crazy psycho chick, Desperate Motive (TV title: Distant Cousins, 1993) is the one movie you don’t want to miss. It wasn’t a great movie, but Marg’s character was quite impressive…a riot, in fact. She and David Keith played a couple paying a visit to his “distant cousin” and his family, but of course, things were just not as simple as they looked…
Wow. That last scene from Lover’s Lanes was just awesome. Most (if not all) of you must have had a big grin on your faces just like we did. You got to see the CSIs having fun together. You got to see how bad of a bowler Catherine is (and how great the rest of the team are), and you got to hear her laugh! So, we have seen the CSIs have breakfast, dance, go-cart and bowl. What else would you like to see them do together? Some of our Twitter followers say karaoke. That would be so funny!
As usual, video clips and screencaps of Marg from the episode are ready for grab. We hope you enjoy the pretties and have a great weekend. :)
It’s CSI night tonight. Hopefully everyone enjoys tonight’s episode, Lover’s Lanes. Writer of the episode Dustin Lee Abraham tweeted a few more behind-the-scenes photos from the set of one particular scene (if you have seen the earlier pics, you know which scene). Marg is in two of them, and she looks stunning as usual. :) You can view the pics here and here (may contain spoilers). Again, if you have a Twitter account, don’t forget to leave Dustin a message and send him your gratitude. :)
Thanks to our lovely friends at Dana Delicious for the heads-up. There is an auction up on Charity Folks with the item name “Crack the Case! Visit the Set of CSI in LA & Meet Star, Marg Helgenberger!”. That’s right. If you win, you get a trip to LA to visit the CSI set and meet Marg in person. Here’s the item description:
Thanks again to those who took parts in our 2009 Birthday Project. You rock! Four lovely fans uploaded their MargDay videos to MargTube. All of them are awesome. Please take a look. :)
Here’s another reminder to those who would like to participate: the project will be running until Friday, November 27th, so you’ve still got time. Please feel free to leave a birthday message in the Dear Marg fan book and if possible, make a small donation to our fundraiser. We will donate the funds to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure foundation to honor Marg and her effort in fighting breast cancer. Don’t worry that Marg Day has passed because we’re celebrating Margvember! (Props to Kie for the awesome idea. ♥)
So, what’s new on MaMa?
Happy Marg Day, dear Marg fans. And Happy 51st Birthday to the one, the only Ms Marg Helgenberger. No matter where you are, what you do, we here at Margamania wish everyone a great day. And have fun if you are going to have your own celebration for Marg Day. :)
We have received a few donations and many messages for the Birthday Project today. It seems many of you were holding out for this particular day. Well done! Thank you so very much to every Marg fan and every friend of MaMa’s for your participation. We really appreciate every message you have left and every dollar you have donated. If you haven’t joined the project and would like to be a part of it, please go here for details. Also, we noticed that a few of you had left your birthday messages on the wrong page. The correct one should be Dear Marg. Please make sure you’re on the right page when you post your message. If you’re one of those who posted on the wrong message, you’re welcome to post again. On the right page, of course. ;)
